Ambassador Program

  • WHAT OUR AMBASSADORS DO

Our Ambassadors are the heartbeat of our organization. They are involved at all levels of GEMS including having a representative at the governance level on our Board of Directors.

They help host events, greet guests, hand out information, help develop programs, help connect GEMS to specific speakers when required, help promote events, sell GEMS Swag at events, collect, clean, package and deliver jewelry etc.

Our organization is growing as are the opportunities for our ambassadors!

There is no fixed job description other than helping when you can, how you can and where you can.

  • WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for heart centred people who believe in what we do and how we are doing it.

Our organization is not reinventing the wheel. There are many charities within the domestic abuse sector doing a terrific job, we applaud and support them. Our role is to operate in the spaces others are not. Our methods are unique and highly impactful. If they aren't we wont continue.

We LOVE working with people who give humbly. This is not a charity for those seeking the limelight. Our 'way' is through humble actions, team work and through lifting others up.

Outside of being a great fit, we expect you to know the basics of our charity well, the initiatives, our verbiage etc.

The time commitment is as great or small as you wish!

  • AMBASSADOR PERKS

As mentioned previously, this is not an organization for those seeking limelight, wanting to gain advertising for their company etc.

However, this is a charity that receives a lot of media attention which our partners frequently receive as well.

Ambassadors who contribute well and align with our organization well are eligible to receive reference letters from those they’ve worked with, within our team i.e. the founder and board members.

Our charity has been the recipient of many generous donations of tickets, prizes etc. almost all of which are given to the ambassadors as a thank you.
